In the early 2000's Pastor Ray completed course work from a satellite school of Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College. In 2003 he was awarded an Associate's Degree in Christian Education, and Bachler's Degree in Christian Studies. He was then licensed as a Minister, and became Associate Pastor of what was then Bly Mountain Ministry. He served in that capacity for about two years. In 2008 Pastor Ray was Ordained as an Independant Minister, and Founded Sunrise Gospel.
